ICC to decide World T20 fate today, PCB Hopeful PSL 6 dates wont clash with WT20 2021

International Cricket council all set to finally postponed the ICC World T20, 2020 til next year as ICC meeting schedule to happen on Monday.

Reliable sources confirmed to Dawn News that ICC meeting specially schedule to discuss the matter of World T20 & its likely that ICC will postponed the World T20 due to Covid 19.

Its worth a mention that ICC may announce this important verdict without full time chairman as shashank Manohr left ICC after completes his tenure and process for the election of next chairman will also likely to discuss in meeting but will finalize in next ICC meeting likely to held later this month

Likely Postponement of ICC World T20 is also crucial for the various members board specially for the BCCI as they are waiting for the official annoucment so they announced thier plan for Indian Premier League which is likely to happen now in United Arab Emirates between September to November
Reliable sources tell Dawn News that "BCCI officials in contact with Emirates Cricket baord but they are waiting for ICC decision and Permission from Indian Goverment"

Its also learnt that India likely to host World T20 2011 and Australia have to wait til 2022 to host World T20 as BCCI and broadcaster wont want to host back to back ICC events in 2022 & 2023 as India also host Mens ICC world Cup, 2023.

On other Hand Pakistan Cricket board is working to stage the remaining matches of Pakistan Super League season 5 in November and in Pakistan
" its decided last year that PSL will now only host in Pakistan, PCB looking to complete season 5 of the league in November and there is no possibility or thinking for any alternate about it, if PSL happening its surely be in Pakistan and not at any neutral venue and PCB FTP series vs South Africa ( away, Sep Oct), vs Zimbabwe ( home, Nov) and against New Zealand ( away in Nov, Dec) likely to happen as per schedule.

Its is also learnt that PCB is verg confident that postponement of ICC World T20 wont affect Pakistan Cricket
" ICC likley to postpone World T20 till nexy year October or November so there is no clash between PSL and World T20 dates and we are confident to stage PSL 6 in Feburary March 2021 in Pakistan
